| Entry Fee $20.00 Must be submitted prior to start of rounds. All players with handicaps over 20 are considered Weekend Hackers for this tournament. Upon payment of the Tournament Fee (explained above), the player will advise the Official Scorekeeper (that’s me) his/her handicap. Maximum handicap is 28. If you’re over that it will be recorded as 28. For any players that have handicaps below 20, well, if there is more than one of them we can keep track of their scores separately and they can compete against themselves in their own mini-tournament. If there is only one player with a handicap under 20, he/she can play but we will take his highest 9 holes (front nine or back nine) and will not eliminate any holes on his scorecard. If we have any ladies that join us, we’ll come up with an additional “handicap” for them depending on their skill to make it just as fair for them, also. Provide M/C (that’s me!) with your Hacker Handicap. Maximum of 28 is allowed. Score each hole up to a maximum of double par; then pick up and add one more stroke. After game is done, each player should turn their score card in (or “team” Card.) to M/C (That’s me!). A random drawing amongst the players will determine which nine holes will be eliminated from everyone’s score. Once those holes are eliminated, the scores are totaled up and the previously recorded handicaps are deducted. In the event of a tie, the lowest score for the first hole not eliminated starting at the 18th hole will determine the winner. In the event of a tie there, then the next “recorded” hole is used. This continues until the tie is broken. If the tie cannot be broken, both players will split that places pool monies. |
